It is time for every Holy Cross Man…

…to go ALL IN FOR HOLY CROSS. The time is right now – if we believe that our alma mater is ready to go to the next level. I’m convinced we are ready – and I also know that the only way we will get there is by standing together as Holy Cross Men and letting the world know we still believe:

 ·         That the world needs “refined gentlemen” who are men of “faith and honesty,”

 ·         That the “practice of manly virtue and piety” still matters, and

 ·         That Holy Cross is poised to become the preeminent school serving young men in our community.

We have built a remarkable, award-winning campus. It’s our job to make sure what happens inside the buildings is as spectacular as our new home. To that end, I am asking you to invest in our Annual Fund. Your investment is put to work immediately to make sure we sustain initiatives already underway to:

·         Offer Advanced Placement courses. This school year, we added five AP courses to our curriculum – making sure high potential students engage in national-level challenges in the classroom. We can only continue to add these critical courses with your support.

·         Attract and retain an outstanding faculty. This year, we brought three PhD’s to our faculty – all enthusiastic about teaching and student research. We want to recruit more outstanding men and women of the highest achievements in their fields. We must have your support to make this happen.

·         Advance a STEM program. Science – Technology – Engineering – Mathematics (STEM) is the mark of a 21st century school – and Holy Cross is a leader in our state in advancing this critical effort for our students. We can change the face of education in our community with your investment in the future.

All the pieces are in place – but we cannot do this without you. No school can lay claim to greatness without a high level of alumni support. And frankly, gentlemen, we’ve got some room to grow. We are well below established benchmarks for alumni participation in our Annual Fund. At this time, we are asking everyone who cares about Holy Cross to join us in the Annual Fund. It is my hope that you will click the link below right now and make a step in improving that number and making sure Holy Cross continues to thrive.

I am asking each Holy Cross Man to calculate their level of support through a program we call ADD A ZERO. Simply determine the number of years since you’ve graduated, ADD A ZERO, and make your investment. For example, I’m a 1986 graduate. It’s been 25 years since then – ADD A ZERO – my suggested level of support is $250. If you can do more, know it will make a difference. If you can’t ADD A ZERO, make your level of support that is right for you. Remember, as we strive to grow our participation numbers, every level of investment counts. I hope you will use this as a guide and make your investment now by clicking the button.

I may be the luckiest Holy Cross Man alive – I get to work at my spiritual home and spend each day talking with my brothers about what we can do to support this wonderful institution. I get to walk the halls each day and see our future brothers as they are growing and learning under the care of a remarkable group of teachers and coaches. Gentlemen, please join me in supporting the Annual Fund and making sure everything we know and love about Holy Cross is there for today and tomorrow.
